This past week I have been rushing to complete curb, edge of pavement and sidewalk feature extraction for Avisight. This was really fun work. Eric and I worked together again to ensure the LiDAR was super accurate and lined up with the Photogrammetry work and air targets that were surveyed for the site. Once I got all the layers lined up perfectly in an Infraworks model I got to work on the feature extraction using cross sections with the LiDAR. I wrapped up all the curbs and sidewalks I could visibly define with the LiDAR hours before getting on a plane for Christmas vacation.
